Another Great Summer Week!
This week and last week have definitely been two of some adventurous weeks. Last week, I left my job at Planet Fitness to pursue my job at Starbucks but as a full-time barista, and that is something I am very glad I did. It was something that did not unfortunately work out for me, and that's okay because I'm choosing to stay positive as I know other opportunities are going to be there for me. Making coffee has been a hobby I've developed since I've started working at Starbucks so I'm excited to continue doing so. :)
I started reading a book that I love, The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles, and I've been reading outside which has been super enjoyable. It's definitely going to become one of my favorite books.
I also went to one of my favorite smoothie food truck, the Wild Banana, since they were near me and had a very delicious smoothie bowl on Sunday. I had them first as a UD student since they came to campus and I've loved them ever since, even in the post-grad life.
Also on Sunday, I went to a yoga/breathwork class that had a very inspiring motivational speaker, and even a session on how to better improve the evening routine. It was held at this very unique place in Dayton that I unfortunately did not get pictures for.
Finally, today (Tuesday), I went to this park that is close to home for a hike with my Mom and Nana. The hike was 4 miles long, but I enjoyed every single minute of it. It's extremely nice when you live in an area surrounded by beautiful parks and trails. There were many neat falls and rapids to see and the trail was quite muddy and wet but we saw some really incredible sights.
After our hike, we went and got coffee at one of my favorite local coffee shops, Orion, in Cedarville. I always enjoy their iced vanilla lattes. It was a good morning!
Would also like to clarify that this is simply a blog post documenting the adventures I do and is not at all an advertisement. Thank you!
